Bukhari (بخاري), also spelled as Bokhari, Bukhary and Bukhori, is a common surname in South Asia and in the Muslim World, meaning "from Bukhara" (in today's Uzbekistan). Its Arabic version is al-Bukhari (Arabic: البخاري)
