Cable Sakamoto Station

Cable Sakamoto Station (ケーブル坂本駅, Kēburu-Sakamoto-eki) is a funicular station in Ōtsu, Shiga, Japan.[1] It is the longest cable-car route in Japan at 2,025 meters.[2] The station opened in 1927.[3]

The station is the lower terminal of the funicular. Platforms are on the both sides of one terminating track.
