Carlos Pita (footballer)

Carlos Pita González (born 8 December 1984) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Lugo as a midfielder.

Club career

Pita was born in A Coruña, Galicia. He spent most of his career with CD Lugo after signing with the club in 2010 from CD Guadalajara,[1] achieving promotion to the Segunda División at the end of the 2011–12 season under Quique Setién[2] and going on to play in more than 250 games in that league.

Pita appeared in one La Liga match as a member of Deportivo de La Coruña, coming on as a late substitute for Aldo Duscher in the 1–1 away draw against CD Numancia on 29 May 2005.[3]
