Central District (Mehriz County)

The Central District of Mehriz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مهریز‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Mehriz County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 43,363, in 11,855 families.[1] The District has one city: Mehriz. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Bahadoran Rural District, Ernan Rural District, Khvormiz Rural District, Miankuh Rural District, and Tang Chenar Rural District.
