Central District (Taleqan County)

The Central District of Taleqan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان طالقان‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Taleqan County, Alborz Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,781, in 7,574 families.[1] The District has one city: Taleqan. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Bala Taleqan Rural District, Miyan Taleqan Rural District, and Pain Taleqan Rural District.
