Certified Hitmaker

Certified Hitmaker is the second studio album by American rapper Lil Mosey. It was released on November 8, 2019, by Mogul Vision Music and Interscope Records.[1][2] The album contains features from Chris Brown, Trippie Redd, Gunna, and AJ Tracey. The deluxe of the album adds additional features from Lil Baby and Lunay.[3][4]

The album was reissued on February 7, 2020, coinciding with the release of the single "Blueberry Faygo".

A deluxe of the album, marketed as "Certified Hitmaker: Ava Leak" was released on August 14, 2020, with three new songs added to the tracklist, "Bands Out Tha Roof", "My Dues", And "Focus On Me", with the latter being self-produced by Lil Mosey. [5]

Background

On October 20, Mosey released the first teaser to Certified Hitmaker which showcases an introduction to an artificial intelligence known as AVA who guides Mosey on his mission on Earth after leaving his homeworld. On October 29, an official album trailer was released which also announced his third upcoming studio album The Land of Make Believe. Certified Hitmaker was eventually released on November 8 containing features from Gunna, Trippie Redd, AJ Tracey, and Chris Brown after being supported by 3 singles "G Walk", "Stuck in a Dream", and "Live This Wild".

A deluxe edition of the album titled Certified Hitmaker (AVA Leak) was released on August 14, 2020 which includes 5 new songs: "Top Gone, "Back At It", "Bands out tha Roof", "My Dues", and "Focus on Me" with new features from Lunay, and Lil Baby. The deluxe features a story that AVA leaked the extra tracks to satisfy Mosey fans until the released of upcoming second mixtape titled Universal, which was scheduled for a late 2020 release date but was missed. Universal would serve as a continuation from a story that began from Northsbest from which he left his homeworld "The Land of Make Believe" to Earth for a mission before returning back home.
