Early Career Entry Journey

Chandrra Mahes's passion towards Suresh Production House has pulled him to join their film Direction department in initial days. Since, he was not qualified enough to get into the direction department as per the criteria set by Ramanaidu studios, he was rejected and to get an opportunity, he was always out of Ramanaidu studios saluting to Dr. Ramanaidu Sir and Suresh Babu and once they started noticing him. He did get the required entry into the office and he joined as fair notes writer for a well known script writer for INR 1000 per month and from there he has begun his journey and learning various crafts of film making till he gets a break as a director from Ramanaidu studios less than 5 years of his due course. Rise To Fame

Dr. Ramanaidu was so impressed with his judgement skills and perception towards film making that, he was offered to direct a film under the banner of Suresh Productions. That is where Preyasi Raave has been developed; the story was given by Posani Krishna Murali. Ideally it was Hero Sumanth who was to do the role, but since there was a factor of hero being dead at the end due to some health alignment, this wouldn't match hero Sumanth image and people will take him into this character regularly, so he declined the offer. That is where Hero Meka Srikanth came down into the picture as there was some fresh image required. Meka Srikanth and Chandrra Mahes association has been built so well during the filming of Preyasi Raave. Initially Srikanth has always been having reluctant expectations on Preyasi Ravve, as his last movies have been bombed on the box office. But, he has been always a best performer, when it comes to delivering, what is required for the film. He is a director's actor and since the release of Preyasi Raave on 19 November 1999, there has been no looking back for Chandrra Mahes and entire cast and crew, where the entire cast & crew has been immensely supported by Chiranjeevi Garu and many more big film personalities Ayodhya Ramayya starring Srihari, Bhanu Priya with complete mass backdrop was the next movie and it was a splendid hit in his career. Next directorial venture was introducing Hero Akash to tollywood, which was almost done and due to some patch work pending for prakash raj, it got delayed as he was banned from Telugu films for a while, which has led the producer Taranga Subrahmanyam Garu to move into losses and movie got halted completely. Bellamkonda Suresh and Vadde Naveen starred Cheppalani Undi was his next venture, Posani Krishna Murali and Chandrra Mahes share a great rapport. Joruga Husharuga and then okkade starring Srihari and many others hits to his hat, when Hero Sir Hari lost his glory of Hero stardom, he regained the same after the movie release of Okkade and then, there was no looking back for Sri Hari as a Real Star Chandrra Mahes has produced and directed the film 'love in Hyderabad' introducing K. Bhayaraj's son Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in the lead, which is yet to be released, halted due to some commercial problems currently Chandraa Mahes has completed his latest directorial venture in 4 languages namely Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, which is an action comedy thriller known as RED ALERT. He is the first director to direct in 4 languages with different star cast.
