Channel 16 (Bangladesh)
Channel 16 (Bengali: চ্যানেল সিক্সটিন; in reference to 16 December) was a first private music entertainment channel in Bangladesh operated by Insight Telecast and channel sixteen company ltd. The Channel official transmission began on 16 December 2011; it opens the new chapter by extending its transmission of Music Bangla programs and Bengali culture in UK, USA, and Canada, some parts of Europe, Middle East and beyond. It was closed down in 2014 after its permission for test run expired.[1]
