Charles Nwoye

Charles Nwoye (born August 10, 1996) is a professional Canadian football defensive end.[1] He is presently playing for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL).[2] In the 2019 CFL Draft, the Lions drafted him 49th overall.[3] He signed with the Lions during May 2019[4][5][6] and made his professional debut in a preseason game against the Edmonton Eskimos in the same month.[7]

Previously he played U Sports football with the UBC Thunderbirds from 2015 to 2018[8] where he was one of the members of the 51st Vanier Cup championship team in 2015.[9][10]
