Coaching career
He managed Rot-Weiß Erfurt U19 before signing a contract to manage the senior team until mid-2015 on 24 March 2015.[1] The contract was extended until 2016 on 21 April 2015.[2] He was sacked on 15 December 2015.[3]
On 1 July 2016, Preusser began as trainer of Bundesliga club SC Freiburg, for their second team. He achieved promotion in the Regionalliga Südwest, and averaged over 1.8 average points per match.
