This is the follow-up of the album Chronicle: Best of the Works (2002). While Chronicle: Best of the Works was originally released by Death Row UK, and thus not officially a Death Row album, this is an official Death Row release. Some of the songs from Dr. Dre's 1992 album The Chronic that were not included on Chronicle: Best of the Works are on this album. A few songs that were already on Chronicle: Best of the Works are also on it.
