Churam

Churam is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by Bharathan, starring Manoj K. Jayan and Divya Unni. This is one of the last films of Bharathan before his death.

Synopsis

Balagopalan, a coffee shop owner in a remote village, gets an orphan girl - Maya. She helps him in the shop and becomes dear to him with her neat and smart activities. Kunjunni - the assistant to Balagopalan lives in the forest. He loves the forest and forest animals. He supplies the vegetables and other raw materials. These simple and straightforward characters attract each other.
