City Gas

City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) (founded in 1861 as the Singapore Gas Company[1]) is the producer and retailer of piped town gas in Singapore.

Not to be confused with Town gas.

City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) has a production facility in Singapore, named Senoko Gasworks, equipped with a capacity of 1.6 million m³ per day. This is the sole facility producing town gas in Singapore. City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) uses the gas pipeline network owned by PowerGas, a subsidiary of Singapore Power, to supply town gas to its customers.

As of 2020, City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) has approximately 850,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Singapore.

City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) provides town gas pipe installation and town gas supply activation services. The maintenance and retail of gas appliances and solutions are also services offered by the company.

At present, City Gas Pte Ltd (as Trustee) is a fully owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation.
