Clayton Weishuhn

Clayton Charles Weishuhn (born October 7, 1959 in San Angelo, Texas) is a former professional American football player who played linebacker for five seasons for the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers. He spent four years playing college football at Angelo State University (1978-1981), and was selected as the Lonestar Conference Lineman of the Year in both 1980 and 1981.[1] In the first week of the 1984 season, while playing for the New England Patriots, he suffered a severe knee injury which rendered him unable to play for the rest of the 1984 season and all of the 1985 season.[2][3] Weishuhn returned for the 1986 season, yet within four games, suffered both a hamstring and groin injury, again causing him to miss the remainder of the team's games. Weishuhn then moved to the Green Bay Packers, where he played in nine games for the 1987 season before ending his football career.[2][4]
