CoVantage Credit Union

The CoVantage Credit Union was established in 1953.[1] Headquartered in Antigo, WI,[2] it is the eighth largest credit union in Wisconsin[3] with assets totaling $1.98 billion and 113,000+  members.[4] Serving 26 Wisconsin counties CoVantage also offices services to three U.P. of Michigan counties.[5] In March 2020, The CoVantage Credit Union Board of Directors authorized around $20 million to be made available to assist existing credit union member-owners affected financially by the coronavirus global pandemic.[6] Two months later – in conjunction with Simplicity Credit Union – CoVantage donated $25,000 to the United Ways serving their membership area.[7] As of August 2020, its 1.25% Annual Percentage Yield of the credit union equaled the top rate offered by a nationally available 2-year CD.[8] Charlie Zanayed joined the credit union in 2013 as Senior Vice President Chief Retail Officer[9] and in 2016 became CEO,[10] when Brian Punty stepped down.[11]
