"Cry" is a song by American DJ and producer Gryffin and Swedish singer and songwriter John Martin. It was released on July 30, 2020. The song wrote by Gary Go, Gryffin, John Martin and Michel Zitron, produced by Gryffin and Jason Ross.[2]

Background

Gryffin debuted playing the track in April 2020 during the virtual Digital Mirage music festival, and Gryffin explained: "More than half a year later, it’s glaringly apparent that the two-headed juggernaut prevailed in doing just that, releasing the highly-coveted single to consummate the #FreeCry movement."[3]

Composition

The song had uplifting guitar melodies, bright pads, atmospheric synths.[4]

The video was premiere on July 30, 2020. And festival video was premiere on September 10, 2020, the footage recorded all festivals around the world from 2017 to 2020.[5]
