Damasak massacre

Jihadist group Boko Haram carried out the Damasak massacre in late 2014 / early 2015 in and around Damasak, a town in Borno State, northeast Nigeria.[1] The bodies of at least 70 people were discovered in a mass grave on 19 March 2015 by Nigerien and Chadian soldiers who, from 9-17 March, liberated the town from Boko Haram.[1]
