Dan Gasser

Daniel Joseph Gasser (born 25 October 1976),[1][2] known professionally as Dan Gasser, is a British radio presenter, currently employed by Global as the weekend afternoon presenter (4pm–7pm) on Radio X.[3]

Early life and career

Gasser was born in Enfield, London, on 25 October 1976.[1] He was a presenter on Invicta FM in Kent during 1997 and 1998[4] before joining the Capital Radio Group (CRG), for whom he presented on Capital FM.[5] The same year, he moved to the Sussex-based station Southern FM,[6] which was also owned by the CRG,[7] where he spent a large part of his career.[8] He stayed with Southern FM through their rebranding to Heart Sussex in 2009 and covered for other time slots across the Heart network.[9]

Between 2012[10][11] and 2016 Gasser co-presented the breakfast show, with Andrea Fox, and then Hanna Neter, on the Brighton-based station Juice 107.2.[12] He left the station in 2016 and re-joined Global, covering time slots for regular presenters on the Heart network,[9] including Heart Cambridge.[13] He presented his first show on Radio X on 13 May 2017.[14]

Personal life

Gasser lives in Polegate, East Sussex.[15] He became engaged to his partner Kate in 2016 after she proposed marriage to him live during one of his shows on Juice 107.2.[16] The couple have two daughters,[16][17] Jess (b.2011),[18] and Jeorgia (b.2017).[19] He has a son, Joe, (b.2001), from a previous relationship.[20]
