He is known for his work on the FOX science-fiction series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Career
Thomsen's first writing credit for a television series was on the CBS crime-drama Close to Home.[1]
Thomsen was a staff writer on the Fox science-fiction series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He contributed three scripts during the shows two-season run.
Following its cancellation, he joined The CW drama reboot Melrose Place. Writing 3 episodes of the first and only season.
In fall 2011, Thomsen joined the first season crew of the ABC fantasy/mystery Once Upon a Time, as an executive story editor and writer. Now, in its second season, Thomsen has been promoted to co-producer. Episodes he has contributed to include:
- "7:15 A.M." 1.10 (Thomsen wrote a teleplay, based on a story by co-creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz)
Thomsen has also developed pilot scripts for the CW and HBO.
He wrote the third episode of the HBO science fiction show Westworld with Lisa Joy.
