Daniella Pineda
Daniella Pineda (born c. 1987/1988)[1] is an American actress, writer, and comedian.

Early life
Raised in Oakland, California, Pineda is of Mexican descent and graduated from Mills College.[1]
Career
In January 2013, it was announced that she was cast as the witch Sophie for season 4 episode 20 of The CW series The Vampire Diaries. This episode serves as a backdoor pilot for a possible series revolving around The Originals and taking place in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Season one of The Originals was set to premiere on October 15, 2013, later change to October 3, 2013. On October 10, 2013, the CW ordered three additional scripts for the series, but Pineda's character was written out of the show as her character was killed off. Pineda subsequently appeared in American Odyssey and The Detour.
In 2018, Pineda co-starred in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as Zia Rodriguez.[2] In 2019, Pineda starred as Cassidy Barrett in Mike Kelley's Netflix anthology thriller What/If.[3]
In Mercy Black, a horror film released on Netflix in March 2019, Pineda stars as main character Marina Hess, a woman recently released from a psychiatric ward after 15 years.
By April 2019, Pineda had been cast as Faye Valentine in a live-action version of the Cowboy Bebop series.[4]
