Danny Richardson (rugby league)
Danny Richardson (born 2 September 1996) is a rugby league footballer who plays as a stand-off or scrum-half for the Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Super League and the England Knights at international level.[3]

He has previously played for St Helens in the Super League, and spent time on loan from Saints at the Sheffield Eagles and the Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Championship.
Background
Richardson was born in Widnes, Cheshire, England.
Career
In 2017, he made his St Helens début against the Leeds Rhinos. Having played just three times in his first season at professional level, Richardson joined Kingstone Press Championship outfit Sheffield Eagles as part of the club's new Dual registration deal with St. Helens. In his first appearance, a 42-34 win vs. Swinton Lions, the scrum-half scored a try and converted seven goal kicks.
He has played for the Sheffield Eagles in the Championship on Dual registration from St. Helens .
International career
In July 2018 he was selected in the England Knights Performance squad.[4]
In 2019 he was selected for the England Knights against Jamaica at Headingley Rugby Stadium.[5]
