David Frayne

The Very Rev David Frayne , MA was an eminent Anglican priest, in the end of the twentieth, and beginning of the twenty first centuries.[1][2]

He was educated at Reigate Grammar School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford, and was ordained in 1961.[3] He was Curate at St Michael, East Wickham, and then Priest in charge of St Barnabas, Downham.[4] He held incumbencies at The Barn Church, Kew,[5] Caterham, Redcliffe, Bristol,[6] and Bedminster, before he was appointed Provost of Blackburn, in December 1992. He retired in September 2001, as Dean, following the reclassification of all Provosts as such, the preceding year, in September 2000.[7][8][9]
