History
Decker Township is named for the Decker family of pioneer settlers.[4]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 46.43 square miles (120.3 km2), of which 44.35 square miles (114.9 km2) (or 95.52%) is land and 2.08 square miles (5.4 km2) (or 4.48%) is water.[3]
