Deepak Dinkar

Deepak Dinkar is a film and leading Tamil television Actor, Model, Dubbing Artist and Television Producer. He is known for his role as Tamil in the Tamil prime time Megaserial on Sun TV Thendral.[1] He is a television host for various shows including Jodi Number One.[2][3]

Personal life

Deepak did his schooling in Gill Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai and was a student in Economics in Loyola College. He is married to S. Sivaranjani and has a son named Agnidh. His friends in industry are kollywood actor Vijay, Shreekumar and Sanjeev.

Career

Deepak started his career in modelling while studying at college. After completing studies he became a video jockey. Later he pursued his career as an actor acting in many serials including Thendral. He participated in Jodi Number One in the first season and later became a host in the second season in STAR Vijay. He has acted in films including Uyarthiru 420.[4][5][6][7] He was the male lead in a film called in Ivanuku Thannila Gandam.[8] Deepak became very famous as Thamizharasu a caring, sweet, and romantic husband in Thendral and as Arasu a crooked, sadistic and menacing politician in Manaivi.

  • Actors Subhalekha Sudhakar and Deepak Dinkar who play father in law and son in law in the serial Thendral also played father and son years earlier in the serial Anni.
  • Deepak played dual roles as identical twins in the serial Selvi in which one twin is good and one twin is evil.
