Devullu

Devullu (transl. Gods) is a 2000 Telugu-language supernatural film produced by Chegondi Haribabu and Karatam Rambabu under the Babu Pictures banner[2] and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.[3] It stars Babloo Prithiveeraj, Ramya Krishna as Goddess Durga, Raasi, Master Nandan, Baby Nitya, while Suman, Srikanth, Rajendra Prasad, Ramya Krishna, Laya were in crucial roles and music was composed by Vandemataram Srinivas.[4] The film recorded as a Blockbuster at the box office.

Plot

Prashanth (Prithviraj Babloo) a professional singer who marries his hardcore fan Nirmala (Raasi). Soon after the marriage, Prasanth's career falters, however, just as Nirmala's singing career begins to thrive. Eventually, she becomes more popular than her husband, their arises pride and jealousy between them. After that, they give birth to two kids Chintu (Master Nandan) & Bhavani (Baby Nitya), the kids are victims of unhappy parents. Disgusted at their intolerance, the couple decides to take a legal divorce. At that time, the children learns from their grandmother (Radha Bai) that their parents are getting problems because she has kept up several promises of visiting gods at 7 holy places in India Kanipakam, Tirupati, Bhadrachalam, Vijayawada, Srisailam, Shiridi and Sabarimala, respectively. So, the gods are angry at their parents. Right now, the children decide to unite their parents by visiting all the holy places. The rest of the story is how they succeed in their attempts and the gods (Srikanth, Rajendra Prasad, Suman, Ramya Krishna, Laya) at holy places help them.[5]
