Dobian

Dobian is an administrative unit, known as a union council of Swabi District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Dobian is located in tehsil Razar of district Swabi which is adjecent to Swat motorway. Dobian is known by its popular Landlord Sher Aman Khan .He was the member of provincial assembly of KPK in 1971-1977(Pakistan Peoples Party) but later on he quit politics. He has 6 sons , 1.Sheheryar Khan 2.AliYar Khan 3.Asfanyar khan 4.Shah-e-rome Khan (Late) 5.AhmedYar Khan 6.Ibn-e-Aman Khan

The Family later on joined Awami National party(ANP) . Sheheryar khan was the Senior vice president of ANP from Swabi and also participated in National assembly elections. Shah-e-rome khan was also the Tehsil Nazim-e -ala of chota Lahore and was going towards success very rapidly but unfortunately he was assassinated back in 2010 in the Holy month of Ramadan and that was the big loss to the Family but his murderer got killed after 10 years of his death in 2020 . AliYar Khan is also the member of Pakistan tobacco board and commerce from KPK as Sher aman was also on that position back in 90's because of their tobacco production in swabi , as per repots they are the largest tobacco growers of Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa (KPK).

District Swabi has four tehsils: Swabi Tehsil, Lahor, Topi Tehsil and Razar. Each comprises a certain number of union councils. There are 56 union councils in district Swabi.
