Dostana 2

Dostana 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Collin D'Cunha and produced by Dharma Productions.[1] It is a standalone sequel to the 2008 movie Dostana also produced by Dharma Productions.[2] Dostana 2 stars Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani in leading roles.[3] Marking Lalwani's Hindi film debut, it has been written by Navjot Gulati, Sumit Arora, Rishabh Sharma and D'Cunha.[4]

Filming commenced in Amritsar on 9 November 2019, but was stopped in March 2020 due to Coronavirus lockdown in India.[5] Dostana 2 was originally scheduled for cinema release in second half of 2020, but has been pushed ahead due to theatres shutdown and production delays owing to COVID-19 pandemic in India[6]
