Dukhtaran-e-Millat

Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Persian: دختران ملت, English: Daughters of the Nation; abbreviated DeM) is an all-woman outfit that advocates Kashmir's liberation from India and works for the establishment of an Islamic social and political system in Kashmir.

The group was founded in 1987, and is headed by Asiya Andrabi, who is described as an "Islamic feminist".[1]

Government of India has declared and banned it as a terrorist organisation.[2] It remains banned in India as of 2018.[2]
