Durrës District
Durrës District (Albanian: Rrethi i Durrësit) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000). It had a population of 182,988 in 2001, and an area of 455 km².[1] The district seat was Durrës. Its territory is now part of Durrës County: the municipalities of Durrës and Shijak.
