The men's team, born in 1984, played also in the Serie A2, the second level of Italian ice hockey, but in 2015 the senior team closed, and the EV Bozen 84 becomes a junior team. Between 2015 and 2018 also the youth teams merged with those of the Hockey Academy Bolzano, and the men's activity has disappeared.
A women's team, the EV Bozen Eagles, has participated in the Italian Hockey League Women (former Women's Serie A) since 2008. The Eagles has won the Scudetto nine consecutive times (from the 2009-2010 to the 2017-2018), and two EWHL titles (2013-2014 and 2016-2017).
