Academics

Eastside was ranked as the fourth best overall high school in the state in US News and World Report High School Rankings 2018.[4] It was the highest rank of all Greenville County Schools . In 2016, It had a graduation rate of 88% in 2015, above the state rate of 80.3%.[3]

In 2015, Eastside had an average ACT composite score of 21.7, which was above the district's average of 18.9 and the state's average of 17.9.[3] Additionally, Eastside High consistently has the highest percentage of students taking AP tests in Greenville County—with a 69% overall pass rate.

In 2015, Eastside had an average Algebra 1 EOC pass rate of 95.6%, an average English 1 EOC pass rate of 73.9%, an average Biology EOC pass rate of 88.1%, and an average US History EOC pass rate of 76.2%. All of these were above state averages.

Athletics

Eastside High School's teams have won over 40 state championships. Eastside's athletics is most noted for wrestling, soccer, cross country, swimming, volleyball, and basketball.[5]
