Eddie Shin

Edward Andrew Yoon Beom Shin (born July 17, 1976) is a Korean-American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role in the sitcom Alexa & Katie (2018).[1]

Early life

Shin was born in Chicago, Illinois to Korean parents on July 17, 1976. He attended the University of Chicago, which he graduated from.

Career

Shin made his screen debut when he appeared as a Stanley Mao in two episodes of the medical drama television series ER.

From 2001 to 2002, Shin appeared as a recurring character Henry Cho in the television series Gilmore Girls for 5 episodes.

His guest television appearances include NYPD Blue, Malcolm in the Middle, NCIS, Two and a Half Men, 2 Broke Girls, Castle, The Middle and The Big Bang Theory.

From 2018 to 2020, he played the role of Dave Mendoza in the Netflix original comedy series Alexa & Katie.

He also provides the voice and motion capture of the character Taka in the PlayStation 4 video game Ghost of Tsushima (2020).[2][3]
