Edel Millennium

The Edel Millennium is a South Korean single-place, paraglider that was designed and produced by Edel Paragliders of Gwangju. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The Millennium was designed as an advanced and competition glider. It can be fitted with thin cross-section lines to reduce drag for competition flying.[1]

The models are each named for their relative size.[1]

Millennium S
Small-sized model for light-weight pilots. Its wing has an aspect ratio is 6.37:1. The glider model is AFNOR Competition certified.[1]
Millennium M
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.83 m (42.1 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25.81 m2 (277.8 sq ft), 77 cells and the aspect ratio is 6.37:1. The pilot weight range is 75 to 100 kg (165 to 220 lb). The glider model is AFNOR Competition certified.[1]
Millennium L
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its wing has an aspect ratio is 6.37:1. The glider model is AFNOR Competition certified.[1]
