Elliott from Earth

Elliott from Earth is an upcoming science fiction-comedy animated television series created for Cartoon Network.[1] Produced at Cartoon Network Studios Europe, the show centers a human boy named Elliott who finds himself living on a spaceship called the Centrium packed with aliens from all corners of the universe. While trying to work out who brought them there and why, they make a new home for themselves and encounter new friends. The series is expected to premiere on Cartoon Network UK on March 6, 2021.[2]

  • Elliott is the titular protagonist in the series. He is a human boy from Earth who is transported to a place called the Centrium, where he meets all kinds of aliens from across the universe.
  • Mo is a dinosaur, a stegosaurus, and he has lived in Biosphere 1138 on the Centrium for as long he can remember. He is one of the main characters in the series.
  • Frankie is Elliott's Mom. She is a geologist who has spent the past few years studying a strange rock she discovered on Earth. She is also transported to the Centrium with Elliott.

Production

The show's pitch was greenlit by Cartoon Network Studios Europe and production started in September 2018,[3] consisting mostly of the production team from Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball.[4] The show's first season will consist of sixteen 11-minute episodes.

At the end of October 2019, the original showrunner Guillaume Cassuto left the series.[5]
