Emmenopterys

Emmenopterys is a genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. The genus is found in China, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam.[1]

Emmenopterys henryi - Inflorescence at the Arboretum of Kalmthout, Belgium. This tree flowers only once every 20 to 25 years. This was the fourth flowering specimen in Europe ever at that time (2006).
