Empire State Roar

The Empire State Roar was a Women's Professional Football League team. They played in Rochester, New York at the East RochesterbHigh School Field. The team was a member of the Women's Professional Football League from 2005 until 2008. This team has been defunct since last having played in the Fall of 2007.

History

The Empire State Roar is the only Women's Professional Football team in Rochester, New York. Since the team's inception in 2005, they have played at the East Rochester High School Field. The 2006 season marks the team's first full season with the Women's Professional Football League, they were an exhibition team during the 2005 season.

Following the 2007 the team left the WPFL and ceased operation.
