Eric Luzzi
Eric Luzzi is the former head men's soccer coach at Northern Illinois University. He held that position from 2009 thru 2016, and posted a 66–70–19 record at the helm. In just his first season, he led the Huskies to a 1–1 draw to No. 1 ranked North Carolina. His team also posted impressive victories over Oregon State University, University of Wisconsin–Madison and University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

In 2011, Luzzi's Huskies went 15–6–0 overall. He led the Huskies to a MAC Championship with a 1–0 win over Western Michigan University in the MAC tournament final. With this win, the Huskies gained an automatic place in the NCAA tournament, winning 3–0 in their first round match versus Western Illinois University. The Huskies then lost 3–0 in the second round to eventual College Cup semi-finalist Creighton University.
He played goalkeeper at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago and at Saint Mary's University (Minnesota).
