Every Day I Have the Blues is a live album by blues musicians Buddy Guy and Junior Wells. Though first released in 2000, several re-releases have surfaced with alternative titles and cover art.[1]

Recording
The recording date and location are unknown. Although Chicago Blues Festival 1964 is used as the title of a 2003 release, liner notes by Athan Maroulis indicate "these live recording [are] from the mid-seventies".[2]

In a review for AllMusic, critic Cub Koda gave the album one and a half out of five stars.[3] He commented: "A fair-to-middling-quality tape of Buddy and Junior doing a typical set in the mid-'70s ... If this were even of soundboard quality, it might be an enjoyable experience; but the horribly muffled vocals and frequent blasts of distortion, combined with mistitled and miscredited tunes ... and a lack of hard recording dates and information, make this one strictly for completists."[3]

Notes
Track 4 is mistakenly titled “Woman Blues”, the studio version was released by Chess Records in July 1965, titled “Leave My Girl Alone”.[4] Track 8 was originally written by Bernard Roth, first recorded by Muddy Waters.[5] Track 10 was originally written by James Brown in 1964.[6]
