Falsez pentru tine (season 1)

The inaugural first season of the mystery music game show Falsez pentru tine premiered on 18 July 2020 (2020-07-18) on Pro TV. It is a Romanian adaptation of I Can See Your Voice.[1]

It was supposed to premiere on 4 November 2018,[2] but it was cancelled for two years following the incident between Bobonete and sitcom Las Fierbinți, which did happened on 5 May 2019.[3]

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the guest artist(s) can eliminate one or two mystery singers in each round, and the last mystery singer(s) standing will do perform a duet.

Rewards

The winning mystery singer gets a digital single release under HaHaHa Production if it is a good singer, or gets a cash prize worth 10,000 lei if it is a bad singer.[4]

Rounds

There were eight individuals of mystery singers standing on the platform to keep their identities concealed until the stage of truth performance.

Singer's visual
  • Round 1: Stay on the picture (Romanian: Rămâi tablou)
The guest artist is given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance.
  • Round 2: Eyes and ears (Romanian: Ochi și urechi)
A muted video of each mystery singer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint.
Singer's evidence
  • Round 3: You tell stories or you play the trombone (Romanian: Povestești sau trombonești)
Each mystery singer tells its stories but with voices being distorted. Good singers have their own evidences while bad singers had their evidences fabricated.
Singer's lip-sync
  • Round 4: Playback on the face (Romanian: Playback pe față)
Each mystery singer performs a lip-sync of a song. Good singers lip-sync to their own voice, while bad singers lip-sync to other's voices.
Singer's verdict
  • Round 5: Out of breath (Romanian: Pe nerăsuflate)
The guest artist must have then 100 seconds to interrogate the remaining mystery singers before making the final decision.
  • Round 6: Here it goes! (Romanian: Acu-i acu!)
The guest artist will have to select one of two remaining mystery singer to duet with, thus declaring the winner.
