First Kill (compilation)

First Kill is a compilation album by the British heavy metal band Tygers Of Pan Tang, released on vinyl in 1986 by Neat Records, then re-released on CD by Castle Classics in 1992. All songs are recordings made at Impulse Studios in 1979/80. All recordings are live without overdubs. Featuring the original line-up, vocalist Jess Cox considers these versions to be demonstrative of the raw and experimental elements that made Tygers of Pan Tang such an important part of the NWOBHM movement.[1] The final track is the only song recorded by Tyger Tyger, a reformation of the two main songwriters in the early phase of the band who had left Tygers Of Pan Tang prior to this compilation. This is the only officially released track by this band.[2]
