Florian Roșu

Florian Gheorghiță Roșu (born 20 April 1993) is a Romanian rugby union player. He plays as a lock for professional SuperLiga club Știința Baia Mare.

Club career

Before joining Știința Baia Mare in 2012, Roșu played as a youth for a local Romanian club based in Baia Mare, namely CSS 2 Siromex Baia Mare. In July 2012 he started his professional journey joining SuperLiga side, CSM Știința Baia Mare. In 2014 he was loaned to Bucharest side, Dinamo, only to be brought back to Baia Mare in 2016, where he still plays.[2]

International career

Roșu was called for Romania's national team, the Oaks, but he is still waiting for his international debut. He also played for the Romania national under-20 rugby union team.[3][4]
