Fly (Nickelback song)

Fly is the debut single by Canadian band Nickelback, released on August 1, 1996. The song originally appeared on the band's extended play Hesher and subsequently was included in the band's debut studio album Curb in 1996.[1] "Fly" was played on local radio stations, but did not chart.

Personnel

The drums featured in the song were played by Nickelback's original drummer, Brandon Kroeger.

Music video

"Fly" was featured in the 1997 Canadian independent film Horsey, and clips from the film were intercut with footage of the band performing to produce Nickelback's first music video. The clips with Nickelback were filmed in a studio out at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Much Music was the only channel to show the music video upon initial release. The music video was released on July 13, 1996.
