Flynn Perez

Flynn Perez (born 25 August 2001) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the North Melbourne Football Club with the 35th draft pick in the 2019 AFL draft.[1][2][3]

Early life

Perez played football for the Sandhurst Football Netball Club.[4] He was educated at Catherine McAuley College.[5][6] He was named to play in Team 'Bartel' in the 'Under 17 futures' Grand final curtain raiser.[7] Perez played for the Bendigo Pioneers in the NAB League.[8] He played 15 games and averaged 16.5 disposals in his 2018 season, but unfortunately he suffered an ACL injury and missed out on the entire 2019 season.[9]

AFL career

Perez debuted in North Melbourne's 36 point loss to Port Adelaide in the 16th round of the 2020 AFL season.[10][11][12] On debut, Perez collected 9 disposals, took 4 marks and 3 tackles.[13]
