For the People (Slovakia)

For the People (Slovak: Za ľudí) is a centrist[3] political party in Slovakia founded by former President Andrej Kiska in 2019.[4] Kiska became party's leader on founding convention on 28 September 2019.[5] Vice-premier and Investments, Regional Development and Informatisation Minister Veronika Remišová has become a new chair of the For the People party. Remisova was elected by delegates at the party congress held on 8 August 2020 in Trencianske Teplice (Trencin region), defeating thus her rival candidate, MP Miroslav Kollar.[6]
