Gary Halpin

Gary Halpin (born 14 February 1966) in Dublin, is an Irish former rugby union international player who played for the Irish national rugby union team. He played as a prop. He played for the Ireland team from 1990 to 1995, winning 11 caps and scoring one try, after making his debut in January 1990 against England in a 23–0 defeat. He was part of the Ireland squad at the 1991 Rugby World Cup and the 1995 Rugby World Cup.[1]

Gary attended Manhattan College in New York city where he threw the hammer on the Jasper's track team. Gary (know to his college mates as Garrett) graduated with the class of 1988.
