Generoso Dattilo

Generoso Dattilo (born 3 May 1902 Rome, Italy - died 12 August 1976) was a former Italian international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 19 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1938-1951. He attributed a match 1950 World Cup[2] and others were in friendly matches. He also attributed a match in Eduard Benes Cup in 1938, a match in Danube Cup 1940-1941.[3] he was a linesman at the 1934 World Cup. He also attributed first match of Germany during World War II that was friendly between Hungary in 1939 in Budapest and Germany lost by 1:5.[4]

He officiated 252 matches in Serie A. He also attributed 1939 Coppa Italia final.
