Education
Ginemellagaha has one secondary school in the area which is Ginemellgaha Maha Viddayalaya. Viddayanda School which served the area nearly 50 years had been closed few years earlier due to low no of students. Ginimellagaha vocational Training Center is situated in the Viddayanda School premises which provide the necessary vocational training for the youth of the area
