Gloria Peritore

Gloria Peritore (born 29 November 1988) is an Italian kickboxer and mixed martial artist. She is the current ISKA World Flyweight Kickboxing and Oriental Rules champion.

Personal life

She was the first Italian to win Bellator (157 edition) in the United States, in St. Louis, against Denise Kielholtz and the first Italian to fight in the K1GP circuit in Japan, at the Saitama Arena. She is an anti-violence activist and is specialized in mental coaching (NLP Practitioner). She has a graduate's degree in marketing and has worked for many years in the fashion industry (web marketing).

Martial arts career

Peritore fought Denise Kielholtz in a rematch, having won their first fight by a split decision,[3] for the inaugural Bellator Kickboxing Flyweight title during Bellator 168.[4] Kielholtz won the fight by a split decision.[5]

Peritore fought Lizzie Largillière during Bellator 190. She won the fight by a unanimous decision.[6] She fought the K-1 and Krush Flyweight champion Kana Morimoto during K'Festa 3.[7] Peritore lost the fight by a first round KO.[8][9]

Peritore challenged for the ISKA World Oriental Rules title in August 2020, which was held at the time by Ludivine Lasnier. Peritore won the title by a unanimous decision.[10][11]
