Gonçalo Inácio

Gonçalo Bernardo Inácio (born 25 August 2001) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Sporting CP.

Club career

Born in Almada, Inácio began at local Almada A.C. before joining the ranks of Sporting CP. On 13 January 2018, he signed his first professional contract at the age of 16.[1]

Inácio had his first call-up to the Sporting first team on 6 July 2020, remaining unused in a goalless draw at Moreirense F.C. in the Primeira Liga.[2] He made his debut in a 2–0 win at Portimonense S.C. on 4 October 2020, as a 62nd-minute substitute for Zouhair Feddal.[3]
