Grand Council of Neuchâtel

The Grand Council of Neuchâtel (French: Grand Conseil de Neuchâtel) is the legislature of the canton of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland. Neuchâtel, styled as a Republic and Canton (République et canton), has a unicameral legislature. The Grand Council has 115 seats, with members elected every four years.

  Social Democratic Party: 32 seats
  Green Party: 17 seats
  Green Liberal Party: 4 seats
  Christian Democratic People's Party: 2 seats
  FDP.The Liberals: 43 seats
  Swiss People's Party: 9 seats

2017 election

On the last occasion, on 2 April 2017, FDP.The Liberals won a plurality, with 43 of the 115 seats. They supplanted the Social Democrats, who won 32. The Green Party (17 seats), Swiss People's Party (9 seats), Solidarity (8 seats), Green Liberal Party (4 seats) and Christian Democratic People's Party (2 seats) also won representation.
